A thank you from the Royal Oak Potton
Ruth, Anthony & Peter would like to thank everyone who supported the Royal Oak’s charity night in December, we had a hugely enjoyable and phenomenally successful night. After a thought-provoking presentation from the Willow Foundation founders, Bob and Megs Wilson, the charity auction got under way with some feverish bidding from our regulars, culminating in a bidding war for our final two lots – a Swedish massage from landlady Ruth Lynn and a two-person track day at Brands Hatch courtesy of Chris Greenwood of Greenwood Motorsports.

From the auction and raffle that followed, we raised a staggering £5670 that will go towards funding the hundreds of special days for seriously ill 16-40 year olds the Willow Foundation predict they will organise across the UK next year.

We’d like to extend our very special thanks to Bob and Megs Wilson for joining us for our charity night and to all our generous sponsors:
